Sitting with your legs crossed, sit up as tall as your can, making room for your tummy and your lungs.
Make sure your shoulders are still relaxed though!
Rest your hands on your tummy.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in through your nose.
Breathe out through your nose
Now when you breathe in, do you notice that your tummy pushes a little into your hands?
As you breathe out you may notice that your tummy comes back into your body.
Next time, imagine that inside your tummy is a balloon.
As you breathe in, imagine the balloon is filling up with your air.
As you breathe out, the balloon deflates again.
Now, breathe in and see how big you can make the balloon by taking a deep breath in through your nose.
And as you breathe out, you may feel that it takes longer to breathe out through your nose.
See if you can do this 3 more times.
